Saudi ambassador to Lebanon Walid Bukhari affirmed that "relations with Lebanon are too deep to receive irresponsible and absurd statements from the country."

"Hezbollah's terrorist insistence on establishing its authority disrupts peace in Lebanon," Bukhari added.

Bukhari called on "Lebanon's government to stop the activities that affect the Kingdom and the Gulf."
