Grand Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, Sheikh Abdellatif Derian, on Monday received at Dar Al-Fatwa the Hungarian Ambassador to Lebanon, Ferenc Csillag, who came on a protocol visit.

Discussions reportedly touched on the current situation in Lebanon and the region, especially the economic and social conditions in the country.

Mufti Derain later met with welcomed at Dar Al-Fatwa the United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Joanna Wronecka, with whom he discussed the current general situation.

The Grand Mufti also received at Dar Al-Fatwa a delegation from the American Task Force for Lebanon (ATFL), headed by its President Ambassador Edward M. Gabriel.
