Public Works Minister Fayez Rasamny held a series of meetings at the ministry beginning with a courtesy visit from Italian Ambassador to Lebanon Fabrizio Marcelli, who congratulated him on his appointment. Discussions focused on key sectors under the ministry’s jurisdiction.
Rasamny reaffirmed his commitment to enhancing the efficiency of Lebanon’s transport and infrastructure facilities, particularly those under the ministry’s oversight. He expressed readiness to strengthen cooperation with Italy, especially in the transport and port sectors.
Rasamny also met with MP Tarek El Merhebi, who wished him success in his new role.
Later, the Works Minister received Dr. Habouba Aoun, leading a delegation from the Farah Social Foundation (FSF), who congratulated him and discussed potential public-private partnerships to support state-building and create opportunities for youth development.
