President Joseph Aoun, accompanied by Foreign Minister Youssef Raji, arrived in the Qatari capital, Doha. They were received at Hamad International Airport by Minister of Transport Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Thani, Qatar’s Ambassador to Lebanon Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, and Lebanon’s Ambassador to Qatar Farah Berri.

In a statement to the Qatar News Agency upon his arrival, Aoun said the visit would contribute to advancing mutual interests and supporting regional stability.

He added, “Qatar’s role will continue, provided we as Lebanese fulfill our responsibilities in terms of development, financial and economic reform, and reconstruction plans.”
