Speaking at the Arab Media Summit in Dubai, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam stressed that "media is no longer a mirror, but has become a factory—for peace or for discord.” He emphasized the need for media that “places truth above all else” and acts as a “partner in rebuilding trust—professional, honest, and committed to integrity."

Salam reaffirmed the Lebanese government’s commitment to implementing UN Security Council Resolution 1701, stating: "We want a state of decision, not a battlefield of conflicts." He also expressed Lebanon’s gratitude for the ongoing support of Gulf states, adding that the country has "chosen to move beyond the duality of arms."
