Lebanon’s National Defense Minister, Major General Michel Menassa, departed Beirut’s Rafic Hariri International Airport, at the head of a military delegation, heading to Turkey, in response to an official invitation from his Turkish counterpart Yasar Guler.

The visit comes at a particularly critical time, amid  the rapid security dynamics the region is witnessing, and it represents a key step in the Lebanese Ministry of National Defense's efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships with friendly countries.
