UNIFIL spokesperson Andrea Tenenti stated in a press release that, "As part of its routine activities under UN Security Council Resolution 1701, and in close coordination with the Lebanese Army, UNIFIL forces discovered an extensive network of fortified tunnels in the vicinity of the towns of Tayr Harfa, Zibqin, and Naqoura. The network included several bunkers, artillery pieces, multiple rocket launchers, as well as hundreds of shells and rockets, anti-tank mines, and other explosive devices."
