Kataeb Party leader and MP Samy Gemayel expressed his party’s full support for President Joseph Aoun, the government, and the prime minister following a meeting between the Kataeb bloc and the president at Baabda Palace.

“We had been waiting for this day and are proud of the courage shown by President Aoun and the government to build a state for all Lebanese,” Gemayel said. He described the president’s new approach as an effort to make Lebanon free from tutelage for the first time in its history, built through partnership among all Lebanese.

Gemayel extended a hand to all under the state’s authority, urging unity in upholding the rule of law to ensure stability and prosperity. He stressed that the recent decision benefits all Lebanese, regardless of sect, and called on Hezbollah to engage in partnership rather than exclusion.
