Secretary-General of the Tashnag Party Albert Balabanian welcomed the head of the Free Patriotic Movement, MP Gebran Bassil, at the party's headquarters in Burj Hammoud, in the presence of MP Agop Pakradounian, member of the Tashnag party's international committee.

The meeting was also attended by Central Committee Secretary George Krikorian, committee member and former Minister Avedis Guidanian, FPM Vice President Ghassan Khoury, MP Nicolas Sehnaoui, and former MP Edy Maalouf.

The attendees discussed regional developments and their repercussions on Lebanon, as well as the visits of international envoys and the outcomes of their talks with Lebanese authorities.

The research also focused on the polarizations witnessed on the local arena on more than one issue, and their repercussions on the general situation.

The attendees emphasized the need to support efforts to maintain the country’s security and stability, and agreed to continue consultations and monitor rapid developments.
