Minister of Public Works Fayez Rasamny welcomed a delegation from the World Bank comprising Country Manager for Lebanon Enrique Blanco Armas, Transport Specialist Frederico Pedroso, Operations Analyst Mai Ibrahim, and Senior Transport Specialist Mira Mourad. 

Talks focused on strengthening cooperation between the Ministry and the Bank, with a review of vital infrastructure projects jointly implemented. 

Discussions also assessed ongoing initiatives and highlighted achievements that could serve as a platform for expanding the partnership to new projects aligned with national development priorities and citizens’ needs.

Both sides agreed to maintain close coordination to ensure the efficient and high-quality execution of future projects, while maximizing the impact of World Bank–Ministry collaboration in Lebanon’s infrastructure sector.
