MTV has learned that the Cabinet will not approve the proposal to revoke the license of the “Ressalat” association, which is close to Hezbollah and whose name was linked to the lighting of the Raouche Rock.

A source familiar with the matter told MTV that the legal conditions for revoking the license are not met, specifically acts against state security or violations of the association’s internal regulations. Therefore, the government must rely on the opinion of the Legislation and Consultation Authority before making a Cabinet decision to avoid the risk of annulment.

The source stressed that investigations into the Raouche Rock lighting incident are still ongoing and further arrests may occur. However, no steps will be taken without meeting the necessary legal conditions, particularly by the Cabinet.
