Minister of Information Paul Morcos welcomed Abigail Sewell, Bureau Chief of the Associated Press (AP) in Beirut, at his office in the ministry, in the presence of the head of the Arab and Foreign Correspondents' Chamber, Mohammad Malli. 

The meeting reportedly addressed avenues of media cooperation between the ministry and the agency, and the professional and informational support it can provide to enhance official media communication and develop journalistic performance in the country.

The meeting comes as part of the Ministry of Information and Minister Marcos's keenness to strengthening partnerships with international media institutions, contributing to conveying a true image of Lebanon to the world and enhancing the presence of Lebanese media on the international landscape.

Separately, Minister Morcos received in his office, Head of the North Lebanon Merchants Association Assaad Hariri with whom he discussed ways to develop media and advertising sector in the North.

Hariri also invited Morcos to pay a visit to North Lebanon.
