Army Commander Rodolph Haykal met in his office at Yarzeh with US Embassy Chargé d’Affaires Keith Hangen, accompanied by Defense Attaché Colonel Jason Belknap. 

Discussions touched on the general situation in Lebanon and the region.

Haykal also received Egyptian Defense Attaché Brigadier General Amr Abdel Karim Eid Mohamed on a farewell visit marking the end of his mission, during which he introduced his successor, Colonel Ayman Abdel Sadek.
