President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, met with Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, at the Presidential Palace, with whom he discussed the general situation in the country, particularly in the south, in light of the ongoing Israeli attacks.

The discussion also touched on developments in the region following the Sharm El Sheikh summit and the agreement on Gaza.  

Following the meeting, Berri described the encounter as positive, saying: “Meetings are always excellent with His Excellency the President.”
