Salam meets Arab Planning Institute delegation and Turkish ambassador
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam received a delegation from the Arab Planning Institute, led by Director-General Dr. Adel Abdullah Al-Wakian, along with Administrative Head Karim Adel Darwish and Lebanese representative Lamia Al-Mubeid Basat. Dr. Al-Wakian conveyed the Institute’s gratitude for the warm reception and highlighted its mission to support Arab countries in strategic planning, economic and social development, and capacity building. 

He praised Lebanon’s governmental efforts to promote development despite ongoing challenges and presented a comprehensive report on the Institute’s programs, including policy analysis, human capital development, research projects, and training initiatives.

PM Salam welcomed the delegation, emphasizing Lebanon’s commitment to deepening cooperation with the Institute to benefit from its expertise in national planning and reform implementation. He assured full governmental support for joint programs, workshops, and institutional collaborations.

Separately, Salam met Turkish Ambassador Murad Lütim, who described the meeting as “very positive,” discussing Lebanon-Turkey relations, Israeli aggressions, regional dynamics, and reaffirming Turkey’s continued support for Lebanon across all fields.
