Israel’s Channel 12 reported that “the Israeli army is preparing for a military intervention in Lebanon aimed at weakening Hezbollah.”

The channel stated that “the purpose of the Israeli intervention in Lebanon is to push the Lebanese government to sign a ‘stable agreement’ with Israel.”

Quoting officials, it added: “Hezbollah will not be allowed to strengthen its capabilities again, nor return to the position it held before October 6, 2023.”
