The following statement was issued by the Lebanese Army – Directorate of Orientation:

“The Israeli enemy has launched a wide wave of attacks in the south, targeting several areas and towns. These condemned attacks are a continuation of the enemy’s destructive approach, aimed at undermining Lebanon’s stability, expanding destruction in the south, prolonging the war, and keeping the threat against the Lebanese people alive, in addition to preventing the army from completing its deployment in accordance with the Armistice Understanding.

In this context, the leadership affirms that the army continues close coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), and that the partnership between the two sides remains at a high level of trust and cooperation.”
