Authorities Track Drug-Filled Vehicle from Europe to Lebanon
The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement:

As part of the ongoing efforts of the ISF to combat drug-smuggling operations and apprehend those responsible, and in coordination with Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate for Drug Control, the Central Anti-Narcotics Office in the Judicial Police Unit intercepted a black Renault Scenic that had arrived by sea from a European country. The vehicle was found to contain professionally concealed narcotics hidden inside its body, including 17.45 kg of cocaine and 11.2 kg of ecstasy.

Following extensive surveillance and investigation, a Special Forces unit carried out a precision operation that led to the arrest of the network’s mastermind:

– M.D. (born 1987, Lebanese)

His accomplice was also arrested:

– M.M. (Lebanese)

During the investigation, a third member of the network was identified:

– M.H. (born 1979, Lebanese)

A search notice has been issued for him.

The investigation is ongoing under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities, and efforts continue to arrest the remaining individuals involved.
