Minister of Foreign Affairs Youssef Raggi held a phone call with the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Mohammed Al Budaiwi, during which he expressed "Lebanon’s gratitude for the Council’s supportive stances toward the government, and for its backing during the delicate phase Lebanon is going through."
