Thick fog is expected to form at mid-level elevations. Clouds will increase throughout the day, with conditions becoming favorable for scattered showers, at times heavy, particularly in northern Lebanon, accompanied by thunder, lightning and strong winds. Rough seas and a chance of hail are also expected.

General conditions: Typical summer weather is prevailing over Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean, with temperatures above seasonal averages over the mountains and inland areas through Friday. The region will then be affected by a weak low-pressure system bringing scattered rainfall, lasting until Saturday morning before conditions gradually stabilize.
Average September temperatures are 22–32°C in Tripoli, 24–32°C in Beirut, and 16–32°C in Zahle.
