Media outlets reported that more than 30 people were killed in an accident involving a bus in southern Mexico.

The reports indicated that the bus was on a trip between Cancun and Tabasco.

Ovidio Peralta, the mayor of Comalcalco, a town in Tabasco, said: "We are paying attention to the federal and state authorities to assist with anything they request."
