Four people, including three children, were killed, and two others were injured in a shooting incident in Pembroke Park, Florida, according to CBS News.

The channel reported that the incident took place in a multi-apartment residential building. One resident, citing another neighbor, stated that a man attempted to kill his entire family before trying to commit suicide.

Upon the arrival of Pembroke Park police, they found a woman and three children dead at the scene, while a man and a girl were transported to local hospitals for treatment.

The motives behind the crime remain unclear.
