Watch: Earthquake Strikes Indonesia
The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre reported an earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale off the coast of Indonesia.

According to the centre’s statement, the earthquake occurred at 05:38 local time, with its epicenter located 104 kilometers east of Palu, a coastal city on the island of Sulawesi with a population of about 282,000.

Data confirmed that the earthquake’s focus was 10 kilometers beneath the surface.

So far, no casualties or damage have been reported, and Indonesian authorities have not issued any tsunami warnings.
