Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa oversaw the first People’s Assembly elections following the fall of Assad’s regime, inspecting one of the polling stations in the capital, Damascus.
During his visit, he said: “The Syrian people take pride in moving from a period of war and chaos to elections, and the task of rebuilding Syria is a collective responsibility.”
