Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz announced that the Israeli army will destroy all Hamas tunnels in the Gaza Strip following the release of hostages.

Speaking on the third day of the ceasefire, Katz said the operations will be carried out under an international framework supervised by the United States. He added, “Israel’s major challenge after the hostages are returned will be to eliminate all Hamas terrorist tunnels in Gaza,” and confirmed that he has ordered the army to prepare for this mission.
