Israel has handed over the bodies of 15 Palestinian prisoners to authorities in Gaza under the ceasefire agreement.
A medical source told the Wafa news agency that the bodies had been brought by Red Cross teams to Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, southern Gaza.
It is the 12th such transfer of bodies to Gaza under the agreement, bringing the total number of bodies returned to 315, Wafa reported.
Only 89 have been identified so far, due to the condition of the bodies and the lack of identification equipment in Gaza. Most of the bodies showed signs of torture, Wafa reported.
