Qatar’s Foreign Ministry has denounced attacks in the Gaza Strip that it said caused deaths and injuries, warning they threaten to undermine the ceasefire agreement. It called for regional and international efforts to preserve the truce.

The Gulf country also condemned an Israeli air raid on the Ein el-Hilweh refugee camp near Sidon in southern Lebanon, which it said resulted in casualties and violated Lebanese sovereignty.

Separately, Qatar strongly criticised the entry of Israel’s prime minister and senior officials into occupied Syrian territory, calling it a breach of international law and a threat to regional security.
