The UN’s child rights agency (UNICEF) says more than 70 Palestinian children have been killed in Gaza since the truce came into effect last month during continued Israeli attacks on the territory.
“A ceasefire must translate into genuine safety for children not more loss,” UNICEF said in a social media post.
“Every child has the right to live. The killing of children must end now.”
