يُنقل بأنه عند انتهاء جلسة مجلس النواب اول من امس، سأل أحد النواب رئيس مجلس النواب نبيه بري قائلاً له: دولة الرئيس في انتخابات؟ فرد عليه "طبعاً وعلى القانون الحالي والمغتربين سينتخبون في لبنان"، وفق ما جاء في أسرار "النهار".
