The Prime Minister’s Press Office issued the following statement on Monday:

“A local news website on Monday reported that a financial consultant from Lazard firm, who was in Lebanon last week, is infected with coronavirus and might have transmitted it to the Prime Minister Hassan Diab and other ministers.

PM’s Press Office clarifies that the said consultant tested negative for coronavirus, according to the results of the medical tests he underwent in France, and that all reports about the Prime Minister and other ministers' health are therefore untrue.”
