Lebanese Consulate confirms solidarity with Congo in facing coronavirus

Lebanese Honorary Consul in the Republic of Congo, Mohamad Assi, presented on Friday a convoy of medical and food aids to the Congolese authorities to help in confronting the Corona epidemic, under the auspices of the Lebanese Consulate and expatriate community residing in Congo, during a ceremony held in Pont Noire in the presence of a crowd of diplomatic, consulate and official figures.



In his delivered speech, Assi expressed "the solidarity of the Lebanese people with the Congolese state and people in confronting this epidemic and its impact at the daily life, economic and health levels."



"This aid is a token of loyalty to the state that embraced the Lebanese expatriate community without discrimination, rendering it part of the fabric of this great country."
