Health Minister Hamad Hassan on Tuesday visited Haroun Hospital in northern Matn, kick-starting his inspection visits to private hospitals.
Minister Hassan has inspected earlier most of the gov-run hospitals in the various Lebanese regions.
The Minister was welcomed by Private Hospital Owners Syndicate Dean Sleiman Haroun.
Hassan affirmed that "these hospitals are a basic partner of the Ministry of Public Health, especially in light of the difficult conditions that Lebanon is going through," stressing that he is keen on the continuity and development of this cooperation.
The Minister underlined the importance of protecting the patient's interest first and maintaining the quality of services offered by private hospitals.
