The Lebanese Army Command - Orientation Directorate issued the following statement on Friday:

"On 4/8/2021, from 6:20 pm until 8:02 pm, two maritime violations were recorded as two Israeli warships breached the Lebanese territorial waters off Ras al-Naqoura, at a distance of around 230 meters, and threw a flare bomb over the aforementioned sea spot.

The two violations will be pursued in coordination with the United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon."
