Media Focal Center Director Salem Zahran tweeted: "Several meetings are being held between the French and those concerned with the governmental file, and a list of names is being prepared to choose a person to head the government."

Zahran added, "All signs indicate that President Aoun will facilitate the designation and formation, and there is a desire to swiftly form a government with the following tasks: Negotiating with the IMF, holding elections and judicial appointments."
