Health Minister Firas Abiad has expected more than 10,000 coronavirus cases to be recorded in Lebanon on Wednesday.

"The number of Covid-19 infections will surpass 10,000 today," the Minister said in a news conference at the Grand Serail.

"The situation does not require a lockdown, but we cannot ease the measures," he said.
