The Lebanese Parliament elected on Tuesday, in a second round, MP Elias Bou Saab as its Deputy Speaker with 65 votes, while MP Ghassan Skaff obtained 60 votes. Two blank ballots were cast, and one vote was canceled.

The result of the first round of the deputy parliament speaker election was: 64 votes for Elias Bou Saab, 49 votes for Ghassan Skaff, 13 blank votes, and two canceled votes.
