Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri sent a cable of condolences to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Pope Tawadros II, following a fire in a church in Giza, near Egypt's capital Cairo, which killed at least 40 people on Sunday.

Berri wished the wounded a speedy recovery, and Egypt's continuation of security, progress and stability.
