President of the Republic Joseph Aoun met at Baabda Palace with the head and members of the State Council.

“Be independent and judge fairly,” Aoun told his visitors.

“As an administrative judiciary, you are asked to protect the rights of the state and those of the citizens alike,” he said. “Do not be affected by rumors and slander campaigns,” he added. “Let your decision satisfy your conscience and not anybody,” he underlined.
