Prime Minister Nawaf Salam met with a delegation of Arab tribes from Khalde and Saadiyat at the Grand Serail, who raised concerns over the Khalde incident and broader developmental and social issues.
The delegation, led by Sheikh Talal Al-Daher, emphasized the need for justice and fairness in handling the case and praised the Prime Minister’s commitment to the rule of law. PM Salam affirmed his dedication to ensuring justice and upholding civil peace.
Salam also received retired Brigadier General Georges Nader and expressed appreciation for the sacrifices of military veterans, underscoring the importance of fair treatment across sectors within a feasible reform framework.
Later, Salam met with a delegation from the Kafaat Foundation, who discussed the organization’s work and the challenges faced by persons with disabilities in Lebanon.
