The Media Office of the Presidency of the Republic issued the following statement:

"The Presidency urges media outlets not to insult any foreign party that is friendly to Lebanon. Freedom of expression is sacred, but this freedom has fixed requirements, the first being truth, and the second being public order in a democratic society."
