Prime Minister Nawaf Salam wrote on X:

"I’m closely following the electoral process in the North and am in direct contact with the Minister of Interior. I appreciate the swift intervention of security forces in addressing violations and attempted bribery. We will not tolerate the recurrence of such infractions, not today in the North, nor later in Beirut, the Bekaa, or the South. As polls near closing time, I call on all citizens in the North to turn out in large numbers. This is their opportunity to express their needs and aspirations, as improving our homeland begins in our towns."
