The Ministries of Justice and State for Technology and Artificial Intelligence officially launched the “Digital Integration of Judicial Payment Orders” project, marking a milestone in Lebanon’s digital transformation strategy.

The announcement followed a joint meeting between Minister of Displaced and Minister of State for Technology and AI Kamal Shehadeh, and Minister of Justice Adel Nassar. The meeting focused on approving the Ministry of Justice’s digital transformation strategy, developed in collaboration with the Technology Ministry as part of a comprehensive national vision.

Leading the project’s implementation are Justice Minister’s legal advisor Lara Saadeh and senior AI advisor Dr. Shadi Azeddine, ensuring oversight across legal, technical, and strategic levels.

The initiative aims to fully integrate court records with the Finance Ministry’s payment system, eliminating manual processes, enabling real-time data exchange, and enhancing transparency and efficiency. It also supports Lebanon’s national digital and AI strategy, laying foundations for smart justice, unified digital identity, and AI-driven governance.
