The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement:
As part of efforts to combat drug trafficking and distribution operations across various Lebanese territories, and to pursue and arrest those involved, the Daher Al-Baydar checkpoint personnel became suspicious of a person traveling in a passenger transport van coming from the Bekaa region, identified as:
D. N. (born in 1994 / Lebanese)
Upon searching him, a quantity of cocaine was found in his possession, divided into 109 nylon envelopes.
The detainee and the confiscated materials were handed over to the relevant unit to take the necessary legal measures against him, pursuant to the instructions of the competent judiciary.
