Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received at the second presidency headquarters in Ain al-Tineh, National Dialogue party leader, MP Fouad Makhzoumi.

The discussion between the pair reportedly touched on the latest political developments, legislative affairs, and the outcomes of the municipal and mayoral elections in Beirut.

On emerging, MP Makhzoumi said that his visit to the Speaker today came to thank him for his national role in ensuring parity and national consensus in the last municipal and mayoral elections, particularly in Beirut.

Makhzoumi added that discussions also touched on the developments in the region, and the importance of the reforms undertaken by the House of Parliament.
