Watch: Look What a Hungry Elephant Did
A massive wild elephant weighing around 4 tons stormed into a supermarket in Nakhon Ratchasima, northeastern Thailand, to eat food off the shelves.

The attached video shows the elephant entering the store and devouring large quantities of rice cakes and eggs. It did not back down when national park workers tried to drive it away.

The unexpected visit of the 25-year-old elephant lasted about 10 minutes, before it got partially stuck in the ceiling while trying to escape.

The store owner helped the "intrusive guest" find its way out, while the elephant was still carrying a bag of snacks with its trunk.

He expressed his astonishment at the incident, noting that while elephants often cause trouble for street food vendors, it’s rare for them to break into closed shops.
