US President Donald Trump stated that "the United States may strike Iran's nuclear facilities or may not. Nobody knows what I'm going to do."

Trump added, "Iran should have negotiated with me two weeks ago. It’s very late to be talking now. There is a big difference between today and two weeks ago, but there’s still time to stop the war."

He also pointed out that "the Iranians are totally defenseless and have no air defense. I don’t know how long they’ll be able to hold out."

Trump continued, "The Iranians suggested coming to the White House. That is very courageous," adding, "We’ve been threatened by Iran for many years."
