Morcos discusses avenues of media cooperation with Brazilian Ambassador
Minister of Information Paul Morcos received in his office at the ministry, the Brazilian Ambassador to Lebanon, Tarcísio Costa, accompanied by the head of the cultural and press section at the embassy, ​​Pablo Perez Sampedro Romer.

The discussion reportedly touched on the bilateral relations, especially in the media field.

After the meeting, Minister Morcos said, "I was honored to receive His Excellency the Brazilian Ambassador. This visit marks the beginning of cooperation in media relations between our two countries. We discussed other avenues of cooperation, including supporting the development of Tele Liban, as well as the possibility of broadcasting some Brazilian documentaries or programs on its channel."

Minister Morcos also pointed out that he proposed that Lebanon television (TL) be given the right to broadcast sports events, particularly those related to Brazilian football, “which the Ambassador duly promised to consider.”

For his part, Ambassador Costa described his meeting with Minister Morcos as "fruitful" where they exchanged views on ways to develop the bilateral media relations.

The Brazilian Ambassador also stressed that he "looks forward to further joint cooperation between the two sides."
