A video has circulated showing an armed display during an Ashura procession in Zoqaq al-Blat, Beirut.

Commenting on the incident, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam stated: “The armed displays seen in Beirut are unacceptable under any circumstance or pretext. I have contacted the Ministers of Interior and Justice, urging them to take all necessary measures under the law to identify those involved, arrest them, and refer them for investigation.”
