Aoun holds diplomatic, economic meetings in Baabda
President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, held a series of high-level meetings at Baabda Palace, addressing key political, economic, and diplomatic developments.

In a meeting with French Ambassador Hervé Magro, President Aoun discussed the latest regional and local developments, including the recent visit of US envoy Tom Barrack and his talks with Lebanese officials. 

The pair also touched on bilateral relations and international efforts to support Lebanon’s stability.

On the parliamentary front, the President met with MP Haidar Nasser, with whom he reviewed the latest political updates and assess the developmental and service-related needs of North Lebanon, particularly Tripoli.

In a separate meeting, Aoun received Director of the IMF’s Middle East and Central Asia Department, former minister Jihad Azour. The discussion focused on Lebanon’s economic situation, ongoing reform efforts, and the broader economic outlook for the region.
