Watch: Earthquake Hits New York
An earthquake measuring 3.0 magnitude struck New York, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.

Reports indicated that the earthquake occurred 18 kilometers northwest of New York City, which has a population of 8.8 million, and 13 kilometers northwest of Manhattan, which has a population of 1.5 million. The earthquake’s epicenter was at a depth of 10 kilometers.

Earlier, a 5.7 magnitude earthquake was recorded in Mexico. Additionally, a 5.6 magnitude earthquake was registered off the coast of Japan.
